How does the CCHA Playoffs Work?

I am a little confused. There are 12 teams in the CCHA playoffs, and
6 sets of first round games.
 
What happens after the first round? Do the bottom 4 seeds left
play each other and then the top 2 seeds get a bye for the Final Four?
 
And when does the second round of the playoffs begin in the CCHA?
 
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
