First, to correct an earlier posting of mine: I didn't realize that Hockey
East had changed their playoff structure AGAIN. Hey, HE officials, make up
your bleeping minds!

Now to the ECAC action from the weekend. Conventional wisdom says that you
have a pretty good shot at winning a league title if you go undefeated at
home and play .500 or so on the road. This is perhaps the route that
Cornell or Clarkson is taking; however, RPI seems bound and determined to
reverse the formula. With the weekend split with Vermont, the Engineers are
3-4 at home against ECAC opponents and 5-0 on the road.

ECAC scores from the weekend:

Friday, 1/18:
     Vermont 4, RPI 3 (OT)

Saturday, 1/19:
     BROWN 3, Yale 1
     CLARKSON 3, St. Lawrence 0
     Rpi 6, VERMONT 4
     ARMY 9, Iona 0
     LOWELL 7, Dartmouth 1

LET'S GO RED!!

"I was just sitting here looking out of my window, and I noticed that there's
a woman hanging from a window ledge on your building and she's about ten
 flights up, and I was wondering if -- no, operator, you're missing the point;
I don't wish to SPEAK to the woman..."
