For the uninitiated and uninformed, what on Earth is the BIG RED
FREAKOUT??? In reading the messages about it, one can only assume
that it is some sort of wild party at a Cornell Hockey Game. I sure
wish I could come and watch it, but, being a student, and living in
`The City of Champions', Edmonton, Alberta, I have the choice of
watching the Edmonton Oilers, or 1 University team (University of
Alberta) or 2 College teams N.A.I.T. - Northern Alberta Institute of
Technology (coached by Perry Pearn, who incidentally coached Canada
to the World Junior Championships in Gavle, Sweden at this past
championship) or Concordia College (Who are playing in their first
season in the ACAC (Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference) along with
N.A.I.T. and 6 other colleges in Alberta.

For those of you who may think that the slogan `The City of
Champions' does not apply for the City of Edmonton, the
aforementioned University of Alberta Golden Bears won the 1991-92
Canada West Universities Athletics Association (CWUAA) Championship,
and also the 1991-92 Canadian Universities National Title.

P.S.-I know you're not from Cornell, but I just had to ask about the
FREAK OUT, because I've read so much about it.
