Just a couple quick items on Joe Frederick and the confusion that he
set a WCHA record for points in a game (which is not true).  He tied
the Northern Michigan record for points in a game and his seven
points is the single-game high for an individual in the WCHA this
season.  He also is one of only four players in school history to
have scored two shorthanded goals in one game.
 
For those of you who don't know...Frederick, a junior forward here,
had 4-3-7 totals last Friday in a 14-2 win over Denver.  He has been
named WCHA Player of the Week for that feat.
