Providence killed Brown 7-1 yesterday to win the Mayor's Cup.
 
This cup is of dubious value, as the mayor-elect of Providence is a
former mayor of Providence and a convicted felon, in that
chronological order.  Apparently, while in office, he essentially
kidnapped a guy who had an affair with his wife, and then tied him up
and beat him with a fireplace prod, an ashtray, and lit cigarettes.
So he was convicted and forced to leave office.  Now the city just
re-elected him.  You figure it out.  Maybe it was his campaign speech
where he said something like "I want to make love to Providence".
(This is true)
 
So maybe Brown didn't want the Mayor's Cup!
 
Anyway, Brown's home record is now a tremendous 0-4-0.
