I checked this with the league office. They said that the Spartans did
announce this time change at Friday's game. It was coach Mason's idea,
I think. BUT, Mason failed to tell the CCHA and especially PASS (who is
broadcasting the game) of his wishes. It is too late now to change the game
time. Satellite time has been scheduled, referees assigned to the game,
etc. Sorry, but the game will be played at 3:10 as originally scheduled.
 
Could this jeopardize Munn Arena's string of regular-season sell-outs??

The "string" is jeopardized because the students will be gone.  The last
I heard there wwere a few ticket left for each day.
 
Thaks for the 3:10 info.  There was substantial hemming and hawing last
wekend - not surprised.  But THAT won't stop the sell-out; the tickets
will either be sold or not regardless of the starting time.
