Okay, so you're aware of the fact that games against Division II teams
are not supposed to be considered for tournament selection, you just
choose to ignore that fact.  The NCAA has repeatedly stated that only
games between tournament-eligible teams are relevant to the selection
procedure.  Division I coaches know this when they take the ice
against Division II teams.  Would it not be unfair to have the NCAA
turne around at the end of the season and take those games into
consideration, after telling everyone they were irrelevant?  Would Joe
Marsh have rested his top five scorers against Wayne State if he'd
known the game would count for tournament selection?
 
I would respond to the rest of your statements, but since you've
replied to my clarification of my position by repeating your prior
arguments with the assertion that all reasonable people agree with
you, rather than addressing any of the counterarguments I or others
have made, I don't really see the point.
