I saw (on television) another occasion where a team pulled its goalie and
allowed a goal into its own net. It occurred in November of 1979, in Denver,
where the NY Islanders were playing the Colorado Rockies (when they were still
a hockey team).

Rob Ramage, who went on to have a long career, put the puck in his own net,
also on a delated penalty. The goal was eventually credited to Islander
goaltender Billy Smith (the last Islander to touch)--the first time an NHL
goalie had been credited with a goal.

Obviously inspired by his good fortune, Smith went on to lead the Islanders to
4 straight Stanley Cups--even through the Rockies won the game 7-4.
