Here's some things I like about the ECAC.  (Remember the Nick Lowe song
"Reasons to be Cheerful"?)  I don't mean any of them as any commentary on
the other conferences, which I also think are kinda neat in their own ways.
 
 
1.  7 different tournament champions in the last 9 seasons!!!
 
2.  4 different first place RS teams in the last 5 seasons.
 
3.  8 different teams finishing in the twelve top 3 slots in the last 4
years.  Of those which haven't, one (Princeton) is now the defending
tournament champion.
 
4.  The team with the worst three-year run of RS finishes coming into this
year (12th, 12th, 10th) is now the defending RS champion (Yale).
 
5.  10 different members have gone to the NCAA tournament in the last 9
seasons.  5 different members have gone in the last 2 seasons.
