I think Parker pulled Laroque at the right time -- before the EN goal,
Sylvia banged one right off the crossbar trying to go top shelf on Welby.
Watching on the replay the shot was close enough that had it hit about a
centimeter lower on the bar it probably would have bounced down and in to
the goal (or onto Welby's back and in).
 
The Terriers were in complete control of the puck for the last 4:00 or so
of regulation, but even when Sylvia's sweet deke around a defender didn't
put the puck in the net BU had control of the puck again. BU needed that
extra skater out there to make sure they could punch that puck right in.
 
Furthermore, Drury's 3rd goal came with Laroque off the ice.
 
 
Congrats to Merrimack and Anderson; if there was any team to knock my
Terriers out in the first one, I'm glad it's the Warriors, and that they
played such a thrilling series to do so.
 
It seems the Terriers have a habit of losing these real damn exciting
playoff and tournament games, though. :-)
