Unfortunately, I doubt that Merrimack will think twice about their
decision. Ron Anderson's team went into the quarterfinals with nothing
to lose, but everything to win. I was at all 3 games. This Warrior
team did not understand the meaning of the word quit. For them to beat
a Terrier team with 4 lines compared to their playing 3 lines was
incredible. They were just as physical at the beginning of the first
game as they were in the 3rd period of the last game. Their rookie
goaltender (Welby) played his heart out. Winning a Hockey East title
would be the icing on the cake for their going away present to their
coach.

On another note, I am worried that Durocher from BU will take the job at
Merrimack if it was offered to him. Does anyone think that Parker will
ask Anderson back as an assistant?
