I have to agree with Mark. I had the good fortune to have been on the
bench for
that game. I was emotionally "wrung out" when it ended so suddenly.
 
What set the stage so dramatically was Kenny Hammonds tieing goal with
close to two minutes left in regulation. Kenny came dowm from the
backside  point and was alone
in front to tie up the game when the puck squirted loose. I still have
the ESPN? tape of the game but I've had the student announcer's (Richie
Glassman?)  play-by-play voiced over. We have shown that tape on a number
of road trips. I remember arriving at a hotel and the player's not
getting off so they couldd watch the end of the game.
