The valve worked as it was designed. The problem was a fan that malfunctioned
causing a compressor to overheat building up pressure in the tank. The valve
is designed to release the pressure to avoid an explosion. They are running on
one compressor but hope to have the other back in use soon.

The men's team was going to practice there today (Wed) because there is a
basketball game at the Whittemore Center tonight. The basketball floor must be
put down and the glass removed from the hockey side boards. Since classes
start today, the team could not practice earlier because the players have their
classes scheduled around their usual late afternoon practice time. The men's
team will not practice on ice today. Since the men's team is off this weekend
a lost day of ice time isn't so bad this week. The women's team had scheduled
the day off previousl to the roof collapse.
