hockey, which as a purist Jack Parker doesn't appear to endorse.

Here, here! I've been a Jack Parker fan for a long time, which is the
main reason why, despite having no personal or professional connections
to Boston University, I always root for BU (except, of course, when
BU is beating up on Brown).
