In response to Pam Sweeney's letter regarding the refs. Earlier this
year, Greg Sheppard had said that since he was head of officials, he
prefered to watch the games from above the ice and monitor the actions of
other WCHA officials. Well, when it was voted on, it was voted 10-0 that
he stay on the ice for an occasional game. So, in an interview this wknd,
he had said that he will mainly be monitoring this year, but he will
skate an occasional game just to be on the ice.

On other notes, what do you all think of the performace by Steve DeBus?
I think he did very well. He needs a game or two like that to help boost
his confidence. Moen continued to shine on Fri and DeBus held his own on
Sat. The result: A SWEEP of Alaska Anchorage.
