        I don't recall Woog ever criticizing Denver for this.  Some
Gopher fans on hockey-l did.  The only time I know of that Woog said
something about another school was SCSU a few years back.  That was
because Woog had lobbied the State to help build their new arena so that
there would be another place for Minnesota kids to play D-I hockey
in state.  I think it all got blown out of proportion from there.
I should like to add that I think that SCSU is living up to that
intention.  They have tremendous recruiting class of nearly all(?) MN
kids.
Anyway, my main point is this:  The "US vs. Them" mentality is more
from selected MN fans than it is from the Wooger.
