The Lake Superior State hockey team continued to add size and scoring
talent with the signing of Tobin Praznik to a National Letter of Intent
on Friday.
Praznik, a 6-3, 210-pound right wing, was a teammate of Laker
recruit Trevor Demmans at Nipawin of the SJHL this season. The
Winnipeg, Manitoba native scored 41 goals and totalled 72 points in 64
games last season. He was a first-team All-SJHL selection and placed
sixth in the league in scoring.
Praznik joins three other student-athletes who have signed to
attend LSSU next season. They are:
*Jason Sessa, Deer Park, N.Y., 6-1, 175, RW; Rochester (USHL)
*Trevor Demmans, Nipawin, Sask., 6-0, 200, D; Nipawin (SJHL)
*Mike Kucsulain, Troy, Mich., 6-4, 205, LW/C; Compuware (NAJHL)
