As mentioned before, Cornell self-destructed in the latter part of the
2nd period taking penalty after penalty. In fact, in the last 7:25 of
the 2nd period, Cornell took 22 minutes in penalties, including 6 minors.
Cornell's Kendall took a double minor at 14:42 and then Felli took a
slash at 15:08. Clarkson then scored at 15:33 to eliminate one of Kendall's
minors but while the goal was being scored the Big Red's Steve Wilson got
called for a cross-check. Clarkson scored again. Then at 18:56 Wilson
took another penalty although Clarkson did not score. The game was
over at this point.
