The fight between Botterill and Fraser was quite a sight, too.
Helmets came off, gloves came off, the ref and linesman backed off
and just kept the other players from jumping in.  Botterill landed
at least three solid lefts to Fraser's face.  Fraser got what looked
like one good shot, but then Botterill smacked him back a few
more times.  Jerseys/pads came up, then the refs jumped in to
break it up.
 
As mentioned before, they both got 5 for fighting as well as gamers,
and should both miss tomorrow's contest.  Not to glorify the violence
over the sport, but it was a sight - especially being at Yost and
not at Joe Louis Arena.
 
And also of note, Mike Knuble notched a hat trick for the game.
