One of the wackiest ECAC seasons in history finally ended Saturday night,
and the Clarkson Golden Knights wound up clinching the regular-season title.
Predictably, there were a number of ties in the standings, and the tie-
breaker gurus may have had to put in a bit of overtime to sort things out --
particularly in the Union-Dartmouth tie for tenth, which didn't get resolved
until the third tiebreaker.
Results from the ECAC's last weekend:
Friday, March 3, 1995:
Clarkson 10, BROWN 2
VERMONT 1, Princeton 0
Rpi 2, CORNELL 2 (OT)
HARVARD 8, St. Lawrence 3
COLGATE 7, Union 5
DARTMOUTH 7, Yale 4
Saturday, March 4:
Clarkson 5, HARVARD 4
DARTMOUTH 3, Princeton 2
COLGATE 3, Rpi 0

And now, on to the playoffs, which don't look any easier to handicap than
the regular-season was. Things get started Tuesday night with the prelim-
inary round games, which have Union traveling to Princeton and St. Lawrence
hosting Cornell.
The rest of this post contains home, away, overtime, and one-goal-game
records for the ECAC. If this stuff bores you, go ahead and hit 'n' (or
whatever the Next Message command is on your mailer)... I don't mind :-)
OK, for the rest of you...
