Two quick comments.
 
First, I was very careful in wording my original post, saying
that no state had *more* Div-I teams than Michigan.  But, I
was too subtle in my mini-woof, because I've received 12-20
messages pointing out that Massachusetts and/or New
York [depending on the message] also have seven. :-)
Stop.  Please.  :-)
 
Second, and more importantly, happy holiday to all.  For
anyone attending the College Hockey Showcase in St
Paul, please find me and say hello.  I'll be wearing a blue
HALKO 24 or yellow KNUBLE 22 Michigan jersey...'cept
of course when Michigan State plays Wisconsin.  Then
I'll be wearing an upside down Bucky Badger and doing
