CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Val Passarelli, a junior center from Ferris
State University, has been selected CCHA Offensive Player of the Week for his
performance the weekend of November 18-19, 1994.  He played junior hockey for
Dawson (Montreal) CJEP and is available for selection in the 1995 National
Hockey League  supplemental draft.
 
Passarelli, a 6-0, 190-pound native of Montreal, Quebec, had six points (three
goals, three assists) as Ferris tied both  Illinois @ Chicago and Ohio State.
He had two goals (one power play) in Friday's contest against Illinois @
Chicago and had four points (one goal, three assists) against Ohio State on
Saturday.
 
CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Paul Spencer, a sophomore goaltender from
the University of Illinois @ Chicago, has been selected the CCHA Defensive
Player of the Week for his performance the weekend of November 18-19, 1994.  He
played his junior hockey for the Waterloo (Iowa) Black Hawks of the USHL.
 
Spencer, a 5-10, 170-pound native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, had 38 saves
in Illinois @ Chicago's 6-4 win at Lake Superior on Saturday.  He stopped 13 of
14 third period shots to preserve the victory and three of the four goals he
surrendered came while the Lakers were on a power play.
