Hmm... this goes against what I have heard hear at BU.
According to the school paper, Ahola had already decided not to try
out for the Finnish Olympic Team.  The article was printed last
Monday, so maybe something else has come up since then.
 
To quote the paper, quoting Ahola:
 
  "I was never planning on going back to Finland, the Olympic team is
   much different there than it is here.  I was planning to stay here
   [at BU] if anything"
 
The article notes that Ahola intends on taking classes here at BU this
summer and then continuing courses in Los Angeles, so that he can get
his college degree.  [Didn't say if he would get it here at BU, but
I would guess not, since they don't accept much transfer credit beyond
the sophomore year.]
