I would think the goalie would hate the clear boards. It hard enough to pick the
puck up in a crowd with a white background, it would have to be nearly
impossible with a background containing who knows what colors.  I'd also think
the players would prefer white boards vs. the clear. It makes it easier to pick
the puck up on bank shots and dump ins.  Never played with the clear ones though
so this is just my opinion.
