I'll echo GM's "partisan defense" of the Spartans.
On paper, I rank Michigan State 2nd nationally to
Boston Univ.  They both have All-America quality
goaltending, MSU is more explosive offensively,
and BU has the finest group of defensemen in the
land.
 
It's way too early to be making any bold statements,
but I have to think that nothing short of Providence
will be considered a success at MSU this year.
 
And, so people don't think I've lost my subjectivity,
I'm absolutely appalled that MSU has assembled
the talent that they have. :-)
