After reading Mike's opinions on the proposed format, I'm convinced
the tournament should stay just as it is. Just looking at it from
a local point of view, this year I got to see three playoff games
leading up to the F4 (Minn. vs. Providence), but under the new format
I wouldn't see any unless the Twin Cities is picked as a regional site.
And even if it was chosen as a regional site, the Gophers may not have
been there. This format may work in hoops, but hockey isn't ready for
it, hockey needs the local fans.
 
Well, off to the Civic Center. I'm hoping for two close, well played
games with good officiating.
