Just got home from the game which was played in front of 4240 hockey
fans.  I don't have the stats at this point but will post them in the
morning.
 
The officiating was very good.  The ref was Gallagher who took a real
nasty boarding early in the first period.  He didn't get up for a couple
of minutes and he was pretty spacey when he did first stand up.  He
recovered from a rough blow and finished the game.  He called a good
game IMHO.
 
My hats off to AAU for their stick-to-itness.  They took advantage of
sloppy defensive play on the part of NMU.  Billy Pye (NMU Goaltender)
played inconsistently.
 
Drake of Northern had a hat-trick for the evening and nearly scored his
fourth goal late in the third.
 
 
I am really much too excited to post with sanity; therefore, I will hold
off until the morning.  I understand that the following teams won this
evening:  Maine over Minnesota \ Clarkson over LSSU \ Boston U. over
Michigan
