I think I like the best of 3 series at the home site of the highest
seed better as it stands now. But maybe the committee is thinking of
a television contract in the future (ESPN?). In that case I think a
single game format at two different sites would be more attractive.

The way I understand it this years playoffs would look like this:

At a predetermined western site (say North Dakota)
---------------------------------------------------
Thurs.	Clarkson vs. Wisconsin
	Michigan vs. Cornell
Sat.	Clarkson/Wisconsin winner vs. Lake Superior State
	Michigan/Cornell winner vs. Boston University

At a predetermined eastern site (say New Hamphire)
--------------------------------------------------
Fri.	Minnesota vs. Providence
Boston College vs. Alaska - Anchorage
Sun.	Minnesota/Providence winner vs. Maine
Boston College/A-A winner vs. Northern Michigan

Final Four at St. Paul as originally scheduled.

I think this would be a very attractive set-up for a tv network,
but maybe I'm just dreaming too.
