Everything went according to form Friday night at the Joe. Lake Superior
beat Western Michigan 11-4 and Michigan defeated Ferris State 4-2.
 
Both underdogs took early 2-0 leads until the favorites stormed back.
 
Doug Weight had a hat trick for LSSU. Michigan outshot Ferris by around
29-13.
 
The announced attendance was ~17000, but there were certainly no more
than 11000 who actually showed up.
