Ted Weiler is curious about:
> But I wanna know, why BC didn't
>lose a spot.

Because they were way ahead of #7 BU. They were 4.5 points ahead of BU
until they got upset; now they are only 1.25 points ahead. They were
within 1 point of #5 Michigan last week, but now they are over 3 points
back. At this stage in the season, a win will raise your rating about a
point and a loss will knock you down about a point. BC lost over 2
points, so getting upset did hurt them more than normal.

(From Northeastern's point of view, this was a huge win, vaulting them up
3 spots and improving their rating by 3+ points. They probably would have
caught Fairbanks, too, except the Nanooks managed a split with Anchorage
last week.)

Remember, it was only 1 game out of BC's 37 this year. TCHCR only weighs
this early post-season game 10% more, by the way. BC may drop a spot
*next week* if BU keeps winning.

BC's loss itself is not too serious, but the fact that it has lost a
chance to beat BU or Maine or Providence in the semis/championship will
come back to haunt them. That is, the full effect of Northeastern's upset
has not been felt yet.

Sometimes it takes some digging, but I think I can explain anything TCHCR
does.
