Pierrick Maia, who played hockey at BGSU from 1987 to 1991, scored a
short-handed goal to help France tie USA 4-4 today in Lillehammer. He
also had a shot on Dunham late on the power play to win it for his
country, but he was denied. Pierrick had 32 goals in his career at
Bowling Green.

Former Falcons have now gone on play for 4 different countries in the
Olympics: USA, France, Canada and Austria.

But it was dissappointing to not hear BGSU grad (and announcer) Mike
Emrick mention the Orange and Brown (maybe I just missed it).

Keith
