Well, now that my national awards poll is complete. I am going to take
a poll as to how hockey-L readers would seed the NCAA tournament.
Here's how it goes:
Vote for your top 6 seeds in both the east region and the west
region. Make sure to separate east and west and make sure to
seed them #1-6 in each.
Don't forget that conference tournament champions are given
automatic bids to the NCAA's.
Since there is a good chance that only 5 teams from the ECAC and
Hockey East will deserve bids, if you are going to put someone from
the CCHA or WCHA into the east region please only choose one (don't
put 2 western teams into the east and 1 eastern team into the west,
for example).
Below I am listing some of the top
teams in the nation who have some sort of shot at an NCAA bid.
The deadline is next Thursday at noon but since conference champs
get automatic bids, you might want to wait until after this Sunday
to vote. I will repost this next Monday.
In the interim, any suggestions on how this could be improved or
compiled? Please email me with your thoughts.
