And then there's the rivalry chain.

Old timers from RPI like me who date back to the time when Union was
Division 3, really don't give the current Union hockey program any respect
.  So while Union regards RPI as their most hated rival, old time Engineer
fans still regard their most hated rival Clarkson.  Clarkson  may dislike
RPI but their most hated rival is most likely St. Lawrence.

And from past ECAC history, the only thing everyone agrees with is that we
all hate Cornell.  So there you have it.  In the ECAC, everyone hates
everyone else.  Probably explains why, year after year,  the ECAC standings
are never decided until the last game of the season.
