One other thought about combined championships.  the Div 1 tourney is
selling out at the finals. if the cost of the extra game is insignificant so
that those attending the div 1 game by those tickets people wanting to
attend the div three game will have almost no chance to see the game...
Lacrosse on the other hand is usually held in arenas that could hold
30-50,000 people.  tickets for just a single event are no problem. div 1
hockey finals are  thought about way in advance for those that want to
attend, this is unlike lacrosse finals...
