I have to agree with Edward N. Moller. As a long time college hockey fan
(more than 40 years), I have observed many, many great college hockey coaches
who were also highly ethical gentlemen ("Snooks" Kelley, Cooney Weiland, Eddie
Jeremiah, Charlie Holt, Len Ceglarski, etc) - just to mention a few. I
believe that Jackie Parker has earned his place along with these great
coaches. You've got to consider this as high praise since I am a rabid Boston
College hockey fan and as such have a very difficult time offering praise to
any facet of the Boston University hockey program. But Jackie Parker
certainly has earned my (and any other true BC hockey fans' praise).
