The case is the same with Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Wisconsin has a lot
of Minnesotans, and those Minnesotans like nothing better than to beat the
Gophers.  Gopher fans may say that the Badger Minnesotans weren't good
enough for the Gophers, but we Wisconsin fans prefer to think differently
:) The rivalry has everything -- history, fans that generally
dislike each other, nasty jokes, and neighboring state hatred
taught at a young age (There were two teams we weren't allowed to cheer
for in my house, no matter what -- the Chicago Bears and the Gophers) I'd
have to go with WI/MN over SCSU/MN strictly for the history of the two
teams -- two historically top teams in neighboring states that happen to
hate each other. The rivalry transcends hockey.
