I was told here at Notre Dame that the first practice date for the NCAA DI
teams will be Oct. 1. This might be wrong, but this is when the team will
be allowed to finally begin offical practices. (Some teams are already
skating without coaches, I guess the guys get together and have some fun once
in a while. Anybody for some hockey?)
