  According to an interview aired during a between-period break in the
WMU-Clarkson game, the 1997 Western Regional will be contested in the
new Amway-Grand Arena (15,000+) in Grand Rapids, MI, hosted by Western
Michigan.  The 1997 Eastern Regionals return to the Worchester Centrum,
host unspecified.  BU has hosted earlier regionals held at the Centrum,
but like Mike M. I think it would be in college hockey's best interest
if the host were rotated to another proximal Eastern school such as one
of the other 3 DivI Boston teams, either of the Merrimack Valley teams,
or UMass-Amherst.
