The Bowling Green State University Falcons defeated the Lake Superior
State University Lakers 4-1 at the BGSU Ice Arena.
 
BGSU wins this years series, taking two of a possible three games.  The
third will be played at the BGSU Ice Arena Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
 
This is the second top ten team to fall to the Falcons in the last week.
The previous victim being Michigan (6-5).
 
The Falcons were solid throughout this game.  The pace was fast, and
though the style of play was different, many of the same tactics used to
topple Michigan were again successful in blunting an explosive offense.
 
LSSU did not score until very late in the third period.
 
BGSU didn't do particularly well on power play chances.  But it did
 well killing them, getting an early shorthanded goal.
