Miami explodes in the first game of the CCHA Playoffs with a convincing victory
over the Ferris State Bulldogs. Dan Carter scored three and Jason Mallon added
two. The score 25:22 into the game: Miami 6, Ferris St. 2. At 7:07 of the
second, Ferris coach Bob Daniels pulled Jeff Blashill out of the net in favor
of Rich Nagy. After Nagy gave up two goals at the end of the period, Daniels
replaced Blashill in net at the start of the third. Keep an eye on the times
of the goals in the box.
