Word from Achilles Rink is that if you don't have a ticket for
tonight's game, don't come! The game was sold out by Thursday
afternoon. Achilles Rink seats 2,504.
A few notes about the game:
- Mike Gallant will get the start in goal for Union. He has played
very well in his last four starts, but is still looking for his first
career win (0-15-0 over 2 seasons).
- Union's practice was closed to the public Thursday for the first
time since moving up to Division I last season. Coach Delventhal says
the team has been working on generating some offense. Union is
averaging about 2.5 goals per game this year, but less than that since
the Christmas break.
- And of course, I'll be in Section 9 for tonight's game. My ticket
is for Sec 9, Row 7, Seat 5 (season tickets) but I think I've actually
been able to sit in that seat only twice all season. Sections 9-11
are mostly student sections, and people tend to sit wherever they can
find a spot in those sections.
