Both teams reverted to regular form as the #1 Black Bears stomped on
the struggling Golden Knights 6-0 in Orono.
1
1st pd: Maine DOMINATED this period and outshot the Knights 13-0. That's
right, Clarkson got 0 shots in the period. But goalie Jason Currie played
very well and allowed only one goal.

2nd pd: Maine outshot the Knights 22-6 in the period. Maine scored 2 quick
goals to go up 3-0 but CLarkson got a powerplay. On that powerplay, the
Knights proceeded to give up 2 shorthanded goals to chase Jason Currie from
the nets (replaced by Chris Rogles).

3rd pd: I believe Clarkson outshot Maine 9-7 in this period but Maine
got the only tally.

More details tommorow but Clarkson suffered its first shutout of the season.
Maine outshot the Knights a whopping 42-15 by my count. No wonder Maine
won big.

box score tommorow.
