there are 128 scenarios still left. below is a table that lists (for
the top teams) the number of scenarios under which the team finishes
in a particular position in the pairwise rankings.
we know wisconsin will be first and maine will be second.

Now it gets interesting.
If both Quinnipiac and Niagara are allowed in the tournament, that
apparently fills the field.
If only Niagra is included, then the last team will be one of
st. cloud, mankato, or RPI (or MSU if UNO is in)
If neither Niagara nor quinnipiac are included, then the last 2 will
come from st. cloud, mankato, RPI, or Minnesota (or MSU if uno is in)
