Wisconsin games are $14, $12 for the cheap seats. The move to the Kohl
Center has made it easier for people to get tickets (8000 capacity at
Coliseum, 15,600 at Kohl Center). It is great more people CAN go, and
it is easier for students to go because the games are now on campus, but
it is not quite the same atmosphere when there are alot of empty seats
compared to having a full house at the smaller arena.
Will supply and demand hold in this case and the UW cut prices to draw
more, not likely.
Of course, this being Wisconsin, the lack of beer gardens at the Kohl
Center may be a factor in not filling the stands : )
