I may be a college hockey newbie, but just by knowing what a two game total
goal series is makes me dislikes the idea. I'm not sure how the NCAA's do it
now, but I think a best 2 of 3 series with unlimited OT's is best. Just look
at the Stanley Finals and the 2 or sometimes 3 OT games are some of the most
exciting games around.
No shootouts, though. maybe put em in the regular season like the USHL, but
not in the playoffs.
