Blaine Lacher started last year with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the
IHL, my hometown team.  After about 25 games, he was going to be sent
down to Muskegon of the UHL, but then he spent a split-second figuring
out where his career was going, and decided to retire.  He is now
working in a hockey shop in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
