The Boston Garden may be regarded as "an arena of doom" by [some] Clarkson
fans but I would be surprised to discover that any other college hockey
team has made as many post-season trips to the Garden than the Golden
Knights. (Would anyone care to verify this?). Anyway, there has been a
well-worn path from Potsdam to Boston over those thirty years (1962-1992)
of ECAC Championship competition and no group of fans has had a more
frequent taste of the Garden Glories than those who elected to make the
trek from the North Country.
