For you Laker fans I watched both Bruins games in which Blaine Lacher
played this year. I also so him play when Maine won in 93 and last
year against BC. This guy is going to be not good but a GREAT goalie
if he continues to play the way he has for the Bruins. I'm hard pressed
to recall a goalie who covers as much net as this guy. It's way early
yet to say he's going to keep this up, but so far what a grat job. Last
night against the defending cup Rangers he was the first star. He stopped
one slap shot with this throat... his only bad play, instead of taking it
in the mask he moved his head back, but he got right up and continued to
play even though you could see he felt that shot. I know the Laker got to
miss this guy between the pipes. What I can't understand is why no one
in the NHL drafted him? What didn't they see?
Later,
Nick
