In fac this week marks the 20th anniversary of Union's 4-OT win over RIT in
the NCAA [Division III]Semi-Finals.  At the time, it was the longest small
college hockey game ever played [and second longest in NCAA history].
I had the great pleasure of calling that game on WRUC radio.

Twenty years later, I still follow Union hockey [albeit from afar], and for
at least half of that time, I've read HOCKEY-L.

I believe that the Union-RIT game went 93:26.  Does anyone know how many
small college [non D-I] games have gone longer.
