Yes, Skeeter Moore did play for UMD in the mid-80's and was a teammate of Guy G
osselin for a bit, I believe.  Skeeter is also a native Duluthian,as he went to
 Duluth East High School (alma mater of US Olympian Sean Hill, also).
     I remember going to UMD games in the mid-80's and hearing the crowds cheer
ing for the home favorite.  Skeeter is a smallish player...at least he was in c
ollege, and he was pretty scrappy, so he was always taking on players much larg
er than himself and taking most of the punishment out of it, too.  The fans wou
ld get on the case of the bigger guy and keep chanting, "Leave Skeeter alone!".
I heard that he was playing over in Sweden now, but I hadn't heard where.
